Yes, square leaves are quaking on my aspen tree. I had been dreaming of this quilt for years and an artistic challenge for Salida artists kicked off my creative start. Discharge fabric (by Laura Wasilowski), suede-like burgundy cotton hand-dyed fabric (by Cherrywood), batik scraps, and YLI cotton varigated thread.    —Joyce Robinson
