Coneflowers

Every time I show Coneflowers at a guild presentation it sounds like the Fourth of July with all the oooohs and ahhhs in the room. I used hand-dyed fabrics (from “Dyesmithy” Janet Jo Smith) with batik fabrics, and rayon thread. The stems are made using Clover bias tape. Oh, what a difference a design wall makes! A giant bulletin board really helps when auditioning and positioning the applique shapes.
