Olivia’s Garden

Using wool is a wonderful experience in quilting. Hand-dyed wool from Weeks Dye Works made its way back from Houston’s International Quilt Festival right into my quilt studio thanks to my local quilt shop in Salida. I machine blanket-stitched the applique in place. Olivia was my grandmother’s name and she had bright red hair, so I honor her with this quilt, Olivia’s Garden.   —Joyce Robinson
