Sometimes quilts have have sisters. Winter Welcome (Batik All Around) has two little sisters. Batik Trip is a half-size version. It all started because I wanted to make a quilt top in a day for teaching. The traditional trip-around-the-world design is a favorite. Then I also whipped up a baby quilt, Flower Power, and photographed it in a snowbank.  —Joyce Robinson
