One look at this key black-and-white-floral print at my local fabric shop in Boulder, elfriedesfinefabrics.com in Boulder, and I was hooked. I love black and white so this was going to brighten my life while I was designing and sewing. Normally I use a wider palette of fabrics, but for Copper Trellis I decided to keep it simple. I love the marquee of squares dancing around each “block” and around the whole quilt. —Joyce Robinson
