This was my first quilt creation using modern large scale prints. They sure do rule the quilt, but for me it is in a good way. Garden Spa is easy to piece and lets the fabrics do the heavy lifting. The quilting looks like a lot of scribbling and gives a modern look. I love the super-dark brown batik border and binding.   —Joyce Robinson
