A tree encased in tiny spikes of ice is the perfect inspiration for a sawtooth border on a quilt. It almost looks like a cactus! The wind was whipping and the roads were tricky in north Boulder—this made it very easy to stay indoors and work on quilting.   —Joyce Robinson
